Aviation Medicine
Dr Anish Ahmed is our Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) at Vitalis Family Medical Practice. He obtained the Australian Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine (ACCAM) through Monash University in 2019.
As a DAME, Dr Ahmed offers initial and renewal Aviation Medicals to Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers. Standard initial and renewal appointments for Class 1-3 medicals are approximately 1 hour long.
Please contact our friendly reception team with your Aviation Reference Number (ARN) and to discuss any special reports and/or tests that may be required prior to your medical.
Information we need before your booking
At the time of booking, please inform our receptionist the following information:
- Your Aviation Reference Number (ARN)
- Medical Certificate Class you are seeking (Class 1, 2 or 3)
The comprehensive medical assessment will take about 1 hour (excluding test time)
Please discuss fees payable on the day of the medical assessment with our friendly receptionists.
